Ecuador: Church Plant & Compassion International

Who is Compassion? For more than 65 years we have worked to develop children into all God intends them to be. We are advocates for children, working to release them from the shackles of poverty. Through a holistic approach to child development, we carefully blend physical, social, economic and spiritual care together…in Jesus' name.

On average, a child we minister to spends 4,000 hours in safe, nurturing programs, is at least 50 percent more likely to graduate college and is 35 percent more likely to find white-collar employment as an adult.

Our response to a world in need filled with millions of children living in poverty is simple: Love like Jesus did. Serve in Jesus' name.

How does Lifepointe support Compassion? Lifepointe passionately partners with Compassion specifically by working to plant a local church in Ecuador. This has overflowed into an opportunity where people from Lifepointe have been able to sponsor specific kids in Ecuador. These sponsorships entail financial aid, prayer, and visitation that is all done through the local church.

Church Planting Partners

Did you know that most people who make a lifelong decision to follow Jesus do so by the age of  35 – and the vast majority of those have made their decision by the age of 18? Reaching the next generation with the hope of Jesus is crucial for the message of the Gospel to continue to spread. And spreading the Gospel is what Jesus commanded us to do – to go, make, teach, and baptize disciples, all around the world.

At Stadia, we take that commission seriously – and we know you do, too. That’s why our partnership could change the world! New churches are statistically more likely to reach people who have never heard about the hope of Jesus, and with the population exploding across the globe, we need churches to hold all those people! We take our jobs seriously – but we celebrate, too, each time a new church begins to reach and impact its community with the hope of Jesus Christ. And the best part is, this calling needs YOU. Together, we can start new churches that reach the next generation with the hope of Jesus – until every child on this planet has a church.

Cypress Project is founded on the belief that God is on mission to redeem every man, woman, and child through relationship with himself, and the local Church is essential to carrying out this mission.
